Confesso que tenho andado um pouco desinteressada do blog. Vou tentar ser mais assídua.<br />
<br />
As Cidades Invisíveis ficaram aquém das minhas expectativas. Como se tratava das viagens de Marco Polo, mesmo que inventadas, pensei que fosse mais emocionante e divertido. Mas na realidade, foi uma grande desilusão, pequenas descrições e pouco mais, e um diálogo entre Marco Polo e o Rei, bah!!<br />

E também porque este último livro:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>675. </b>Orlando - Uma Biografia (Orlando) – Virginia Woolf </div><div style="text-align: justify;">ser uma GRANDE SECA!!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"> No início até estava a gostar, a forma como a autora escreve, parece que estamos dentro do seu cérebro a presenciar o desencadear dos seus pensamentos. Mas o desenrolar da história acaba por ser cansativo e pouco interessante, não falando da falta de lógica e irrealidade de toda a situação. O facto de Orlando viver durante séculos sem nenhuma explicação para esse facto e a mudança de sexo após um longo sono não torna a história mais interessante, torna-a sim cansativa. Pois por muitos séculos que tenha vivido a sua vida não é especialmente interessante.</div><br />

Quanto a este livro não posso tecer grandes elogios, a não ser a tradução ser da autoria de Eça de Queirós. Sei que se trata de um livro escrito no séc. XIX, mas mesmo assim não consegui abstrair-me dos comentários racistas, e da barbárie da caça ao elefante. A escrita não é cativante, no entanto, compreendo este aspecto, visto que o narrador é um caçador de elefantes. Não tenho mais a acrescentar.</div><br />

Apaixonei-me pelo Richard Parker! Adorei o facto de o Pi ter três religiões, e a forma como ele as conseguia conjugar. Afinal Deus há só um, existem é várias de formas de chegar até Ele.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Recomendo este livro, pelo relato de coragem e sobrevivência. E por mostrar que o nosso instinto de sobrevivência é tão forte, que suportamos e fazemos coisas inimagináveis para nós até à data do acontecimento que muda tudo.<br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Tenho pesquisado revistas e jornais que estejam a publicar colecções de livros, para ver se consigo arranjar o máximo de livros a um preço amigo da carteira. E tenho estado sempre a controlar as promoções da Fnac, Wook e Editorial Presença, esta última tem todas as semanas o "livro da semana" com um preço muito simpático e sem portes de envio. Foi assim que comprei o Pack <i>Os Irmãos Karamázov</i> por 23,90 €.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

Ontem à noite vi o filme <b>Memórias de uma Gueixa</b> e fiquei um pouco desiludida. O filme omite muita informação, altera certos acontecimentos e personagens. O livro neste caso é mesmo muito melhor.<br />
Já sabia que o Livro é sempre melhor que o Filme, e neste caso é flagrante a diferença.<br />

Recomendo vivamente este livro! Há muito tempo que não ficava a ler pela noite fora, por simplesmente não conseguir largar um livro.<br />
Está escrito de uma forma que temos a sensação que estamos sentadas frente-a-frente com a protagonista, enquanto esta nos conta a sua história. E não digo mais!Se querem conhecer a vida desta bela japonesa de olhos cinzentos, leiam o livro. Não façam batota e vejam o filme primeiro!!<br />
